Intonation was represented at the 12th annual conference of the European Association of Translation Companies (EUATC)- T – UPDATE on Management and Sales last week, which took place at the Steigenberger Hotel in Berlin, from 19th to 21st April.
Intonation’s Commercial Director, Dan Peachey, was impressed with the event and its organisation. “I attend a lot of industry events and the EUATC has become a must on our calendar. It’s important for myself as an industry professional, but also for Intonation as a leading company in the market to remain abreast of the trends which are important to the European translation industry, as well as networking with friends and colleagues, old and new.”
The three-day event took place in the heart of the German capital and featured representatives from translation companies across Europe and beyond sales industry professionals and representatives from translation technology vendors.
Intonation’s team of two, including Business Development Manager Teague Fullick, undertook masterclasses in international SEO, one of Intonation’s language services, and emerging sales strategies, as well as seminars on subjects as diverse as finance and productivity, emerging translation technologies and. Dan continued, “We like to ensure we remain ahead of the curve when it comes to developments in technology, management and sales so that we can service the needs of our clients successfully. We found the EUATC conference so useful and look forward to next year’s event in Spain.”
